I love surf rock!
Any recommendations for good surf rock tunes?
So far I’ve got:
The Surfaris - Wipe Out
The Venturas - Walk Don’t Run
The Atlantics - Bombora
The Shadows - Apache
Obviously I know a lot more but are there any I might have missed?

I wanted to avoid the Pixies if possible. I put together a Spotify surf rock playlist and it became inadvertently dominated by the Pixies because all their songs are so good so you can’t leave any out. The Pixies are banned from this thread because they are too good!

If you want a bit of a curveball, try the fabulous Messer Chups, a Russian band/musical project from St. Petersburg who specialize in some sort of surf-spy-horror movie soundtrack-type music.
Yeah Messer Chups sound interesting.
Liking the Mermen sound - listening now. Will have to check out further, clearly.
