Surpringly appropriate and non-sucky use/adaptation of existing songs for commercial jingles

(Bonus points for bands/songs you’ve never heard before, since that fits my example and I like to stack the deck. :p)

So, I saw this pretty catchy Roomba commercial and I had to look up the artist, since it sounded like a band I’d heard before (it wasn’t).

I was surprised to find out that the song had been written five years prior, and apparently wasn’t even intended to become a commercial jingle. More surprising was that the original, full version of the song was even better than the commercial hinted at, and the original low-budget, homemade video actually wasn’t half bad, either - it cracked me up while I tapped my feet!

So, anybody else have any similar examples of being pleasantly surprised by a commercial jingle?

Nada? It was the rambling title, wasn’t it? Reading it back now, I noticed it is a bit of a mess…

But, come on, nobody else found that jingle to be catchy? Nobody else has any similar examples?

Hmph! ::takes ball, goes home::

A darn catchy tune is the “Macbook Air Song” aka, New Soul, by Yael Naim.
