Bingo. And if a Democrat ever wins the EC but loses the PV, those crybaby mothefuckers will never stop whining about it.
My implication was that Trump lost the popular vote three times. I never implied he lost the election three times. I wish he did.
We all know how our fucked up EC system works.
Bafflingly, Trump won the popular vote once all votes were counted in 2024. Unless you mean that he didn’t get to 50%.
You called him a loser. He won the Presidency twice. So He could also be called a winner 2/3 of the time (100% of the time if you’re a delusional MAGA)
The Electoral College is DEI for Republicans.
I did call him a loser and I was accurate. Here is what I wrote:
Is that inaccurate? I guess I should’ve said more “times”, but you know exactly what I was referring to.
And the Confederate flag is the world’s largest participation trophy.
I feel pretty bad for the Cad here. An attempt at pedantry just falling absolutely flat like that.
How embarrassing

But since it’s anti-Trump, I’m guessing any spin on this is acceptable to the majority here. My spin is if you became President you won the election. But hey, that just me (apparently).

Don’t confuse them with facts. Because then Trump would be tied with John Adams and Benjamin Harrison as a President that lost the popular vote twice which completely destroys their narrative.
“You know this is, like, discrimination, right?”
I can’t believe the level of stupidity of a magat walking into an LGBTQ+ friendly bar, antagonizing the patrons, and then spewing out that line.
Beat on the brat with a baseball bat

No, your spin is that everyone is disagreeing with you because they dislike Trump rather than because you blatantly moved the goalposts.

I can’t believe the level of stupidity of a magat
No matter what the rest of this sentence, I can well believe it now.

Trump has lost the majority more than any other president. And yes, plenty of others have won a majority. BTW, this makes Trump the biggest loser in presidential elections.
One: Tied for the lead with two others so “more than any other President” is an error.
Two: The usage of “loser” is at best ambiguous. Loser of the popular vote does not equal loser in the election. If let’s say Harris had won the Electoral Vote in 2024 with the same popular vote total, would this board be calling her the loser of the election?
I’m hoping we can go back to laughing at MAGAs for reaping exactly what they’ve sown.

A MAGA was trying to enter a bar that was LGBTQ+ friendly while filming and trying to cause trouble.
The Chatterbox is in Indy, and is one of the coolest bars in town. It has an extremely legitimate jazz scene that I k ow little about, but am told that jazz musicians and fans come from around the world to visit. Glad to see management give another reason to support them.

Yes, yes, echo chamber, piling on, etc.
Or…you might have tried a gotcha, wasn’t quite careful enough, and flubbed it. Occam and all.

The Electoral College is DEI for Republicans.
The EC is the OG DEI. Long before Republicans were a twinkle in Honest Abe’s eye.
The entire structure of our government was designed specifically to ensure that minorities had a voice. Granted, those minorities were slavers and rich white guys from less populated states, but the point still stands.

And the Confederate flag is the world’s largest participation trophy.
I know, right!?
There is a slight downside to this leopard-eating-faces stuff, and it’s that right now a lot of news shows are preferentially interviewing people who voted for Trump.
As though, if you have a legitimate grievance, that you’ve lost your job or had your human rights trampled on…well, if it turns out you voted for Harris you might just be saying all that because you hate Trump. You need to say you voted for Trump to make it “real”.
I might be hypersensitive to it because, here in the UK, almost all Brexit discussions are framed around people who voted Brexit and how they feel about it now. And yes, many acknowledge that it’s been a clusterfook, but you never hear actual pro-EU voices because those people generally didn’t vote Leave in 2016.

You make a valid point. I think part of it is because people who voted Harris and everyone else knew they’d get fucked over if Trump won. In sense, it isn’t really news. But for many Trump supporters, they’re finding out, but I fear we won’t reach a critical mass where they’ll turn on him. Even when Trump hurt my MAGA sister, she pretty quickly excused his actions as reasonable.

Not only that, I think these kind of stories create a false narrative that Trump is losing popularity when he has never been more popular. These stories are click bait, and the fact is his base will never abandon him.
