Surprises coming for voters for the Leopards-Eating-Faces Party

But he is. Pre-Apprentice he had always been someone who was better known as tabloid fodder than for real accomplishment, but that still is “celebrity” in the famous-for-being-famous sense.

I remember saying in 2016 on social media before the election that Trump had mental health issues like narcissism (and just stupidity in general) and would be a disaster as a President.

I was informed by some of his supporters that Trump is always the smartest person in the room and was asked how could Trump possibly have mental health issues when he was such an extremely successful business genius.

These people apparently thought The Apprentice was real. They had no idea of his bankruptcies or multiple failed business ventures (or what a piece-of-shit he was in general). The country desperately needed Trump to run the government like his businesses so he could MAGA! after Obama ruined it.

I know you’re being wry, but just for the record — it’s a popular misconception that the Jonestown cultists all lined up and happily and willingly drank the poison. In actual fact, a whole lot of people were reluctant, some seriously so, verging up to openly rebellious. Many were forced to drink the poison at gunpoint. Some were simply shot.

So when we get to the “flavor-aid phase,” if we follow the Jonestown model, it won’t be sane people watching in cheerful perplexity as the MAGA morons off themselves. They will take a bunch of unwilling people with them.

It’s a holdover from their pro westling-fan days.

Come to think, didn’t he and Vince McMahon have a feud for a while?

He’s having a list made
Someone’s checking it twice
He’s gonna find out who’s getting 30 dolls for Trumpmas and who’s getting 3
Trump O’ Clause is burning it all down
Trump O’ Clause is burning it down

…you look really nice today.

To me, it depends on context. If the “after” contradicts the “before” (“I’m not a racist, but the immigrants are stealing America from real Americans”), then the premise applies; if not (“The Axis had major successes early in WWII, but ended up losing”), it doesn’t.

My ex, who was not known for her subtlety, felt it always applied. I don’t.

Yes, good point and I agree completely, but I was just having a bit of a laugh.

Please tell me the Heaven’s Gate phase is coming soon.

Different opinions. I don’t feel that any one that is famous for being famous is a celebrity. See Kim Kardashian.

A celebrity EARNS it though talent IMHO. Trump has not earned anything and has zero talent (other than the ability to lie, cheat, steal and con people).

Trump was a talented reality show actor.

And who ever canceled it put us in a real show. A shit show. A REAL reality show. Or Trump would have just kept going in for makeup and diaper changes.

Trump, his entire persona is that - He. Is. An. Actor. He never means what he says.

It almost sounds like this idea for getting people to show up for jury duty.

The curved banners are called “Rockers”. The top one is the name of the club, the bottom one is the chapter/region.

Beware a single rocker.

If we see one, should we notify a mod?

It’s usually an old guy with a grizzled beard and a leather coat who smells of cigarettes. Generally harmless, but keep an eye on them.

Are married rockers okay?

I’ve got a jacket so dirty and bad
I’m gonna ride my bike and wish that it had
more than one rocker
more than one rocker
-Jackson “Animal” Browne, rock star, biker

That sounds to me like a case of asking a Vespa rider when a Harley rider would probably be the more appropriate resource.
