It was so docile that it had to have been released. They made so much noise when they first saw it that any wild or feral pig would have been out of there in a heartbeat. Plus, they kept trying to rope it when they had several chances to just tackle it. I’m not sure why the producers would have done that though, it’s not like the pig was drinking a 7-up or Hormel is sponsoring the show.

Last week, when Kat ‘won’ the BLT in the auction, she blurted out “Oh Look, BACON!”
That’s what I was thinking. They chased it around, scaring it half to death and then when they returned from the immunity challenge, it was lounging around at camp? And it showed no sign of fear when they walked past, it just chilled there.
Don’t actual wild pigs get a bit vicious when frightened?

They seem to have the run of the place. I liked how Troyzan said “These people think we’ll just catch the pig, take its leg off and it’s ham sandwiches for everyone”. Killing and butchering a pig is a hell of a dirtier job than cleaning fish, you noobs.
Well, it’s too bad Trozan is gone, he was keeping it interesting. but at least the bloodletting is about to begin on the girls alliance. Wonder if it’ll break before they vote out Tarzan.
That’s always a risk on new-player-only seasons. Many don’t like returning players, but at least you’re guaranteed a strong, strategic player on both tribes to lead the way.

How fucking stupid is Christina? When you know they are splitting the vote between one person and you, why the hell would you vote for someone else? Vote for Troy, and reduce your chances of getting voted off.
As stupid as Kat is, she’s actually OK at the physical challenges. I’ve notice this a number of times.
It wouldn’t make a difference. The numbers are so lopsided Christina was only going home if Troy had an idol. If he did one more vote being negated would change nothing. But voting for Chelsea was not a good move. People will know someone didn’t vote like they said they would and that it must be her. She has given them an excuse to vote her out before Tarzan.
Notice more evidence of the secret pact Tarzan has with at least some of the core women. His name doesn’t even come up when Kim is directing the troops who to throw votes to in case Troyzan has the idol.
I thought Kim really made some mistakes in the episode. Clearly she should have tried to lose the reward challenge and if she had won she should have chosen Kat and Alicia to go with her. I think she should have lost the immunity challenge as well. Yes she would be risking a blindside but she still has her idol if she senses things going awry. Last week she is outed as the mastermind controlling the game. This week she demonstrates she’s also the strongest player in the challenges. If I’m Chelsea or Sabrina I’m thinking Kim has to go sooner rather than later. Not only is she the most strategic player (who are known for turning on allies) but she has the most convincing case to the jury of having played the best game.
And lastly, can we have more challenges where the women have to lube themselves up? Please?

The one thing the Survivor producers are good at is editing. If they wanted us to believe that was a feral pig, they sure as hell wouldn’t have shown him napping by the fire. Maybe they did “release” it, but as my link above shows, domesticated pigs in Samoan villages seem to be allowed to run around loose.
Except you don’t know for certain that other players aren’t going to defect. It makes absolutely no sense for Christina to vote for anyone other than Troy.
I don’t think Kim should have told Christina what they were doing. Why risk her tipping their hand? She’s a non-entity in this game anyway.
In this secret scene, Tarzan says the pig calmed down and he was able to pet it, and he doesn’t want to eat it.

I don’t know if Tarzan is more savvy than I gave him credit for, or if he’s just been damn lucky. But if he manages to make it to a 3-person final, the jury will be 5 men and 4 women. Not that it’s a given that everyone will vote along gender lines, but that surely won’t hurt his cause. If the girls start turning on each other before voting Tarzan out, and/or he wins a couple of immunities, he’s actually got a shot at winning this thing.
The only remaining player about whom I can’t find anything to like is Alicia. Everyone else, even Christina, is OK by me, but if Alicia walks away from this with a million bucks I’ll be seriously pissed. Christina, of course, is playing a terribly weak game and seems so universally disliked that I can’t imagine her getting any jury votes at all. Why nobody seems to display the same sort of open contempt for Alicia, who has shown herself again and again to be a horrible nasty bitch, is beyond me.
I agree. What is even more baffling is that she is a special needs educator. With her obvious biases and attitudes, I wouldn’t let her near my kids.
Furthermore, as muldoonthief mentions her comments about IQ are priceless as well, especially where she questions whether an IQ of zero is possible.
What freakin’ job qualifications does she have that do not require at least a basic understanding of an Intelligence Quotient and it’s calculation ?
Alicia is just a bitch. And she’s supposed to be a Special Ed teacher? I find her much more irritating than Christina.
But if other people might defect against her then she is sunk anyways. In that light her vote for Chelsea made sense. I criticized her for it before but really she hasn’t got anywere to turn. She is now at the top of the list whether or not she is fingered for voting for Chelsea. So why not roll the dice?
Kim didn’t tell Christina. Sabrina did. Someone here said she did it on purpose to garner a jury vote but I must have missed that scene.
Like I said, any fewer votes for Troy increases her chances of being the one voted out.
