At 63 I’m not that stunned. I saw Survivor last month. They opened for Peter Frampton.
They played all of their songs in a hard, heavy metal key. Not horrible but rather different from what they sound like on the radio.
But man, they all looked like hell! Tired, perhaps drugged out. Looked like a bunch of shitbag hasbeens on that stage.
Rock-n-roll exacts a heavy toll!
Frampton is a major asshole in real life. But he can still rock the house I have to say.

I’ve never seen the band perform, but I liked Jamison’s voice better than Dave Bickler’s.

I still crack up whenever I see the old video from “Eye of the Tiger.” The guys in Survivor were marching down the street together, trying to look muy macho and so tough… and it didn’t work. At all.
You should have seen them in concert last month. (Dave Bickler not included). I thought they really looked like shit. I understand that touring takes it’s toll, but I go to a hell of a lot of concerts (I saw 13 in August alone) and rarely see anyone look that bad!
They did a funny parody of “Eye of the Tiger” in a Starbucks commercial.
