Although I wasn’t too keen on Adam winning, I did think this was a very good season. It started off slow with not much of interest, but after the merge, it really took off.
But another season of retreads? Oy… I’m not at all excited about the next one.
I am interested to see Micheala play again. She is an Ozzie level competitor, and the returnees were playing while this season aired. Is she can develop a better social game she will be very dangerous

I don’t see what people see in Michaela. She’s a bossy, irritating player. She might be OK if she can make the merge, but she is not a team player, which is what you need to be during the first part of the game.
At final five, Adam found the HII, and then told both Bret and Hannah and Hannah later spilled the beans to David and Ken. They switched their votes to Bret and Bret was voted off.
At the time, it looked like a big mistake by Adam, as Hannah was playing both sides.
But I think that mistake might have been the key to Adam’s win.
If Adam never told Hannah, David would have been voted out.
The Final Four would have been Adam, Ken, Hannah, Bret.
Chances are Ken would have still won Immunity (Don’t think Bret would have won)
At this time, Adam has to be biggest threat with David gone, IMO Adam is voted out in the final four and we get a final three of Hannah, Ken, and Bret.
She played all out in every challenge, and if she had made the merge she would have had a good shot at running the table on the immunity challenges. Her flaw was she did not understand the social and strategic side of the game. She may have learned from her mistake. If she can play strategically, she will be hard to beat.
Well, sounds like she’d be a great player IN A DIFFERENT GAME. Meanwhile, this game has a strong social component. You know who else had a terrible social game? Hitler, that’s who!!! No, just kidding. Ken. Ken had a terrible social game and he got 0 votes at FTC.
The problem with challenge beasts is that they get voted out before (or at/just after) the merge because they are challenge beasts. That’s why the later stages of the game end up with guys like David winning challenges, or mediocre-at-best guys like Ken dominating. Once all the beasts are gone, it’s battle of the scrubs.
I really have to second this. If it’s all about sob stories why even go through the exercise of playing the game - just have everyone try to out boo boo each other on the first day. This was definitely one of my favorite seasons up until final tribal. It also totally ruined the reunion show. All of it was about his mom.
I hope Ken felt like a dumbass for voting as he did , not that it would have made any difference but still…
And yes, I did think Hannah got hotter in those shorts as the season wore on.
Agreed. I really liked her and if it were all the individual game, she may have gone far. I think she’s smart and learned a lot on the first go-round and will be a stronger strategic player. What may also help (or hurt) is nobody else there had seen her play or knew her strengths and weaknesses.
