Our own MissTake clobbered the freeroll at 23/1177 for $5.50. :slight_smile: Duke took 42d for $3.00. I got sucked out on early.

Good game - people were cashing before the second break.

What was up with tonight’s special game? I’m drunk off my ass and don’t know why nobody but Oslo showed up. Then he disappeared. That just doesn’t make sense to my drunk ass. Can someone explain?

I didn’t know this was an way to refill Oslo’s account until after we exchanged PMs. Anyway, make a new game and I’ll happily register and not show up. Stupid new guys take way too long too catch on.

Oslo has the twin disadvantages of being American, and poor (at least in online poker funds). If he depletes his online account, it would be very difficult to get it reinstated. But in a moment of extreme cleverness, we figured we could transfer money to Oslo by letting him create a “Special” tournament, and then none of the rest of us show up for it. He wins first place, and gets enough money to stick around for another month.

We play for pride, not money. It’s only 2 cents a week to play. The rest of us are willing to bankroll Os because beating him makes us feel better about ourselves.

This is strange. Last week I signed up, paid, was on the list, and when I went to play I wasn’t signed up or on the list and my buy in had been refunded.

Same thing today. Saw the game, signed up, paid, was on the list. Did it at lunch, Dag I think was in there, too. Now I go on, I’m not signed up and my money was back in my account. Signed up again and it looks like Oslo and Yeti are there.

I was logged on and trying to play, but a Special w/all bots moves pretty fast.

Yeah, Oslo wasn’t in at all, not even signed up. Nobody else was online, I was the only non-bot. I wouldn’t have been except I was playing at the time the tourney started.

So did anybody sign up/play the Saturday version? Doesn’t sound like it, but I wasn’t around to check it out.
