That doesn’t grate on my ears like the original.
(I’m not a big Kid Rock fan either, but it’s not awful.)

I think I commented similarly in another thread, but the best rap and/or hip hop in recent years, to my ears at least, is coming out of Britain. There are so many tracks and artists that I love. Especially The Streets, who are almost like beat poetry about chav life set over abrasive beats.
I also like MIA.
Is her new album out yet?
There’s no ETA yet. She did release a single in November, Babylon.
I’m not sure if it will be part of the new album (which will be called MATA) or not.
I absolutely hate that song. That no-talent assclown managed to absolutely ruin two actually good songs with that piece of shit.
Based on my experience with them, they wouldn’t do much to solve his issue, since they mostly filter out ambient sound. They can somewhat handle the murmur of a people talking in a crowd, but they don’t filter out loud talking, let alone loud music.
There’s a whole world out there that doesn’t revolve around rap.
If you count knowing who the performers are, then I guess I’m not ignorant of rap. But I don’t willingly listen to it, and if I am at some place where they play it that you can’t escape (like NBA games) then I suffer through and forget it as soon as I can.
Critics wanna mention they miss when hip hop was rappin
Mothafucka if you did Killer Mike’d be platinum
Yep. Pretty tiresome.
I bet most people would recognize some of opera’s biggest “hits”. Like:
That’s…an interesting take.
I didn’t realize that Johnny was in both the Country Hall of Fame (1980) and the Rock and Roll Hall Fame (1992).
{insert genre here} is ok, some of it is really good, and some of it sucks. But if it ain’t your thing, it ain’t your thing.
But this never gets old:
Just spitballin here - has the OP asked the roommate to turn it down?
Some rap/hip hop is quite good.
Here’s a classic. N.W.A. - Dope Man - YouTube
A more modern song by a master of the craft is Riff Raff - Time - YouTube
OP- open your mind and learn to enjoy new things.
It’s the Pit, so I’m just going to say it. That thing was born old. The sound track is ok, but that movie was not good.
Oh, I never need to see the movie again. But the soundtrack… yeah, sometimes that just hits the spot.
That being said, I thought that we just posting recipes here since the subject of OP is well, pretty dumb, and in addition it’s St Patrick’s day and I may be somewhat drunk. If it’s still a serious discussion, well, carry on.
It was never a serious discussion.
