I finally got my complete set of Absolutely Fabulous episodes on video that I ordered with my birthday gift certificate! We’ve been watching them, laughing hysterically, and both Mr. Pug and I love the French episode the best, partly because our last trip to France had several similarities to Edina and Patsy’s trip. (House too “rustique,” bugs, etc. – also lots of wine drinking.)
What’s your favorite episode and why?
I can’t think of an episode I didn’t like.
There’s a fashion victim here at work that wears the most atrocious but terribly expensive outfits and every time I see her I say “LACROIX, sweetie” to myself.

2nd would be a tie between the “France” episode and the “Morocco” episode.
I just wish they were ‘Closed Captioned for the British-impaired’: e.g. Harvey Nichols? Selina Scott and Jeff Banks? Hello! magazine? Mr. Whippy?
Anything with Bubbles. Hey, that gives me a super idea for Halloween…
The Morocco episode is hysterical, but I think my favorite might be the door knob episode. The end is kind of depressing, but the concept of flying 3,000 miles to find a doorknob is too funny.
