I believe this is related to his previous post about a switch; I also fully agree with the 8th post in that thread, not to mention have no idea what the OP wants to accomplish so it would be a good idea if he could explain (his questions make me think it is a very bad idea if he wants to do something with mains electricity, not a problem if its just a breadboard powered by a battery).
Then it’s a tilt switch.
