You know, I think that yahoo should really stick to the directory search method. Yes this is a very mild rant, but it irks me a little that the default search on Yahoo is now the web search instead of the directory.
I remember back in the days before Google that there were many search engines without a clear superior. Webcrawler, then Altavista, then those metasearch engines. But now, I really think that Google is the superior and all of the other search engines that want to take its place have a serious disadvantage. Its simple and everyone is so used to it by now, I know that it will take some serious improved technology to make me switch.
So Yahoo, please just stick to the directory. And MSN, I’m never going to use your search. Please just stop.
