Sylvia Browne crosses over

Yes, she was one of the kidnap victims rescued in Cleveland but her mother died in 2006.

No, I meant Sylvia Browne…never mind.

[joke fail]

Sorry, I didn’t get it.

I got it!

Okay, Sylvia… I’m seeing someone… someone with the initials G.R.? He’s here with us now. He’s very tall, and wearing a hooded cloak… holding some kind of sickle… and he’s tapping his watch. Did he have a watch that meant a lot to him?

Can we just bury this piece of garbage in a landfill?

Not with any sort of dignity. She doesn’t deserve it. I picture her corpse tumbling out of the back of a garbage truck with the rest of the delivery.

Did she really die? I’m not seeing it reported at all by NBC this morning.

Confirming my long-held belief that NBC is actually pretty good at figuring out what counts as news worth reporting. I’d be happy if people like this didn’t even get their deaths reported, we just all sort of found out years later.

Did anyone have her in the Death Pool? It would have been artistically appropriate.

Regards,
Shodan

I’m surprised no one has mentioned yet her apparent attitude towards her victims. She would be very abrupt and dismissive to the people she spoke to. It was not hard to imagine once she was away from the camera she would laugh at the poor dupes who bought her BS.

Any idea why Montel loved her so much? Were they just pot smoking buddies or what?

She was the only one telling him “I see great success in your future.”

She brought viewers to his show. Even stupid viewers buy shit, and that’s all the advertisers want. They aren’t fighting ignorance.

Agree. She was such scum that ponds rejected her.

There was a minor headline on the NBC homepage this morning. (Top, right side, in smaller font below some other stuff.) I looked just now, and it wasn’t there so I searched. Here’s the NBC News article.

Maybe the afterlife didn’t want her and threw her back.

I have a vision that all the people she claims to have channeled are now waiting in line to have a few choice words with her. Each carrying a sock full of doorknobs.

I wish I believed in Hell, because I’d like to picture her there.

I got in trouble at my local library because I kept moving her books to the Fiction section, it occurs to me that I should have just thrown them away.

Ding Dong the witch is dead. Wait… I feel a void… now who am I gonna hate?

I wonder if people who talked to her on talk shows had to sign a disclaimer, because she practiced medicine without a license on those shows. She would tell people flat out that “it’s your thyroid” or “I see an embolism” when they asked about a health problem.
