I’ve been using MS SyncToy for quite a while to sync between my desktop and laptop. For a MS program, it worked remarkably well.
Then suddenly yesterday, when tried to open it, got a message,“SyncToy has encountered a problem and needs to close.” Tried it a couple of times, no luck, then uninstalled and re-installed it, same thing.
So, uninstalled it again and downloaded and installed the new beta 2.0 version. Once there, tried to open and again got a message, and a note that it might be a ne
t framwork problem and I should update.
Went to Win Update, downloaded and installed a few things, including the NET framwork update. After that was all done, that update failed.
Anybody got any idea what’s gone wrong here, and why that upgrade failed. Something hinky with my computer, but can’t figure out what.
