I have the comics. Imagine my delight when I was sitting in the cinema and a trailer came on with images from them! (BTW, the comix are much better than the film. But I think Lorie Petty is smokin’ hot. 
)
I knew going into it that there was a comic book series, but after Lord Of The Rings was so well done as movies (according to me) loosely based on the books I was prepared to take it for what it was. And I’m glad I did. I’ll never be able to watch “A League Of Their Own” with the same eyes. And really, I have to say that Naomi Watts cleans up rather nicely, but still works for me as a demure jet mechanic.
