Woohoo! I get outta work in three minutes, and then it’s off to PathMark to pick up all the stuff I need to make tacos for dinner!
I luuuuuuuuv me some tacos!
Woohoo! Tacos!
Tacos!

Tacostacostacos!!! Woohoo for tacos!!
Oh, lookit that. It took me three minutes to make this post. That means it time to head out and get the ingredients for…TACOS!!! Wooooohooo!!
I want tacos, but hubby doesn’t like crunchy taco shells (yes, I know, not real tacos but I like 'em anyway), so I will just sit here waiting for a review of how tasty the tacos is and live vicariously through your own joy, Hal.
UUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRP!!!
Pretty damn good, thanks. I’m thinking I probably should’ve stopped at four, but they’re one of those things that I seem to be able to keep stuffing into my face.
Fortunately, I made sure to pick up an extra-big package of ground beef. That means leftovers. Woohoo! Tacos for lunch tomorrow!
PathMark - 2 minutes away. RiteAid - 3 minutes away. C-Town - what the hell is C-Town? Never heard of that one. Well, either way, Jersey misses you too.
But I’ve managed to talk the hubby into allowing me to make nachos for tea, so it’s nearly as good!
(And before anyone asks, I don’t know why hubby will eat corn chips in nachos, but not the crunchy taco shells. To me the only difference is the cheez powder™ on the doritos that I get, but he’ll eat 'em where he won’t eat t’others, so there ya go)
We were going to make tacos, but then WhyKid and I got creative, and made a layered “Mexican Lasagne” instead. Layers of veggie “ground beef” and tomato sauce with cumin, chili powder, onion powder and oregano; black beans with corn and onions; cheese; salsa; sliced olives and corn tortillas in place of lasagne noodles. Served up with sour cream and lettuce shreds. Yum!
Ahhh taco night at the crib. Always an event! I think i’ll have a taco night tomorrow! Tacos, Friday, and Payday. Life doesn’t get much better than that!
Well, you’ve hit Tacos A La Briston to the letter. Except I use a four-cheese mix. And my wife likes tomatos on hers.
And on leftover day (aka today), it’s Travellin’ Taco day! You take a small bag of Fritos, smash 'em up, and dump the leftover ingredients into the bag. Mmmm mmm mmmmmm!
Mmmmm…tacos. Always a pleaser around our house. And not unlike Lay’s Potato Chips…“bet you can’t eat just one.” We stop only when we run out of shells. Generally it’s the only time the wife makes a bigger mess than I do while eating.
Beef, Mexican Cheese Mix (bagged), lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes (for the wife), Ortega or La Victoria Taco Sauce.
