Wow, knowing that they could stay when they reach US soil, why not paint the truck black? A yellow tarp… that’s just too easy to spot! Other than that, very ingenious indeed.
They gain points for ingenuity, but lose points for decor. Green and bright yellow? You are trying to sneak into a country! Next time, go with blue! I t matches the ocean much better!
Sadly Cuban TV consists of 3 channels, and on any given moment you will see one of the followin:
- Speech by Fidel Castro
- Round table discussion of a speech by Fidel Castro
- Round table discussion of how awful things are elsewhere
- Round table discussion of how great things are in Cuba
- Mexican/Venezuelan soap opera about a hot looking servant girl who rises to power through cunning use of her body.
I’m not kidding. That being said I second the sentiment that these guys would kick ass on Junkyard Wars, and that it’s a shame their talents will not be available to the capitalist market.

Great design. But the Coast Guard sunk it! What do they usually do with “ships” recovered in those situations? It seems like sinking it could be some kind of environmental hazard that could have been avoided.
First off, I agree they should be allowed in due to sheer cleverness.
Second, this being a capitalist country, do you think Chevy could work this into an ad?

We usually sink 'em. The smaller rafts and inner tubes will be brought aboard and brought back to shore, the larger craft sunk or burned. I believe there’s a museum of rafts and craft that have been salvaged in Miami. That truck would’ve been a great addition.
I’ve picked up alot of Cubans in my time, and that’s the best mode of transport I’ve seen yet.
Sea Ray better move on over, looks like they may have some competition. 
We should have let those guys in, they could have done well here. That is an excellent example of “Good ol’ American ingenuity.”
