Take The Densa Test!

11 - the pill one is totally dishonest.

Eschew Obfuscation

radar ralf, you started this.
[ul][li]Fill 5 oz. container with milk from vat.[/li][li]Fill 3 oz. container with milk from 5 oz. container, leaving 2 oz. in 5 oz. container.[/li][li]Dump 3 oz. container’s milk back in vat.[/li][li]Pour the 2 oz. from 5 oz. container into 3 oz. container.[/li][li]Fill 5 oz. container from vat.[/li][li]Fill 3 oz. container from 5 oz. container.[/li][li]The 3 oz. container already had 2 oz., so you subtracted 1 oz. when you filled it, giving you 4 oz. in the 5 oz. container.[/ul][/li]
STOP TORMENTING ME!

11 out of 12, I also flubbed the Moses question, dammit! And I had heard that one before, too!

Yup the Moses one got me, as well as that damn pill question.

I blame it on a brain fart.

You say “cheesy” like that’s a BAD thing.

Ditto to Seal. 11/12, with that damned Mosas question tripping me up. And I went to Sunday school, too. Feh.

12/12 but the butcher one threw almost…All the other answers were numbers or click boxes, I wasn’t counting on nouns…

Here’s one for ya:
You have one match when you enter a darkened room. (Light from the door so you can see these, don’t get to technical) You see a gas-lamp, an oil-lamp, and a gas heater.
Which do you light first?

You’d light the match first.

8 out of 12. It says I’m average, but I feel subaverage compared to y’all :frowning:

10 out of 12: Moses and pills kicked my butt.

Moses! ARgggggghhhh!

11 / 12

I missed the Moses one because I tried to type in something about “the flood & the ark is just a story, it didn’t really happen…”

11

I thought one of the giraffes was named Moses…

Demo–I stand by the 90-minute thing as well. I scored an 11 for the same reason.

A slightly easier way to do this is:
[ul][li]Fill 3 oz. at vat.[/li][li]Pour contents into 5 oz.[/li][li]Fill 3 oz. again.[/li][li]Pour contents into 5 oz. This leaves 1 oz. in the 3 oz.[/li][li]Empty 5 oz.[/li][li]Pour contents of 3 oz. into 5 oz.[/li][li]Fill 3 oz. again and empty into 5 oz.[/ul][/li]

“His eyes are as green as a fresh-pickled toad,
His hair is as dark as a blackboard,
I wish he was mine, he’s really divine,
The hero who conquered the Dark Lord.”

On second thought, both systems have seven steps. Whatever works for you. Anyway, what kind of a kitchen doesn’t have measuring cups?

I got 12, but only because I’d seen that birth day weasel before. (Note the space. I took one once where they asked “birthday” (no space) and insisted we each had only one. They relented when I took my Compact OED and smashed their cranium, pointing out that “birthday” is the word for “anniversary of one’s birth”. The Compact OED only weighs seven or nine pounds, as opposed to the complete 24 volume version that I cannot lift.)

Tom~

!@# I got a !#% eleven.
Damn question 8. I bet everyone gets that one wrong, except really smart folks.
Damn it damn it damn it, and here I thought I was smart.
Damn.

Damn.

It seems odd that so many people, including me, missed moses and pill only. I agree that the pill question is poorly put, but I’m kicking myself over that damn moses!
