Am I missing something here? My only choices are “Strongly Agree” and “Agree”? What about “Disagree”?
The questions are placed in pairs, left and right. If you don’t like the choice on the left, then you might like the choice on the right.
OK, I’m an Enterpriser. Well, I can handle that.
But then, in the “typology description”, it tells me that this is an “extremely partisan Republican group”.
 WTF? I can’t remember the last time I voted for a Republican.
:smack: Of course.
I am not a Liberal! Am not, am not, am not!
I’m a liberal, which doesn’t surprise me in the least.
Robin
Ha! It has me as an Enterpriser too! I’ve never voted Republican in my life, but apparently I’m an “extremely partisan Republican” too.
Oh, and apparently I am socially conservative on gay marriage even though I strongly agree with “Homosexuality is a way of life that should be accepted by society” and also strongly agree with “I worry the government is getting too involved in the issue of morality”.
In other words, the test is bullshit.
Disaffected, and I dislike the test as well. More than once I didn’t agree with either statement.
“Disaffecteds have little interest in keeping up with news about politics and government, and few participated in the last election.” BS
How they got “belief that success is mostly beyond a person’s control” from my answers is beyond me.
“Disaffecteds are deeply cynical about government” - Yeah, that part is true. Jeez, is anyone in 2006 NOT cynical about government.
It declared me an ‘Enemy Combatant’ and a traitor to the Fatherland.
(Should I run now…?)
It declared me a liberal. Which is true. But Excalibre nailed it, it’s not a very good questionnaire.
I usually come up as moderate, though. I tend to have strong conservative - not Republican - views on economic issues and big business, and then fairly strong liberal views on social issues.
Me too
I’m a liberal. Now I’m wondering why I spent 3 minutes of my life taking a quiz that I knew the answer to perfectly well ahead of time.
Me also, tho I’m sure a couple of different answers would be all seperating me from being a Social Conservative or a ProGov’t Con.
Funny you should mention that. Me too!
(May I join you?)
Me, too.
Gee, on the liberal-conservative scale, I marked liberal. Then it told me I’m a liberal. Very impressive bit of programming there.
Is there any other kind?
I’m an Enterpriser. Beam me up, Dubya. :dubious:
I’d more likely refer to myself as a Libertarian.
Liberal. Though radical queer wiccan anarchist apparently was not an option.
Liberal.
But I already knew that.
I’m apparently an Upbeat who’s surprised to learn he supports George Bush. I guess it’s because the President and I agree on…on…ummm…well, we’re both carbon-based life-forms.
