The most notable in my life was someone called Scott. When I joined high school he was part of a small gang of people that verbally bullied me. He did his fair share of it. I hated the lot of them.
As the years went on this gang gradually god bored with me and themselves.
Then came college. Almost on the first day scott initiated a conversation with me (there were plenty of other people there from the same school so it’s not as if I was the only person he knew) and we became good friends straight away. I never did bring up the ‘relation’ between us at school, nor did he.
A couple of other people from the school that had joined that same course also switched allegiance but to a lesser extent. The whole classs (me included) played football every single dinner time and college was generally a fun time in my life (it’s a shame University turned out to be such an utterly dull pointless boring hell of a 4 years. I had one friend to maintain sanity but the course was suicidally boring)
In seventh grade a friend of mine introduced me to a friend of hers. From the moment we met we hated each other… She was so annoying and loud and bitchy… My friend would invite her to functions and we would constantly and consistently be rude to each other-fighting the entire time. The whole school knew that we were enemies…
I dont even know what happend honestly… but about a year and a half later we were the best of friends and have been for the past 13 years. We are very close, i was the maid of honor in her wedding and we talk all the time, even though she lives in another state. I guess sometimes you decide you dont like someone for no good reason, only to find out their just like you… Hmm…I guess that means i’m annoying, loud and bitchy???
My grade school bully. He used to ram me into walls and generally be just a prick to me. Flash forward to Jr high, and we are stuck in Home Room together. We were the only two minorities in the school (Him African, Me Asian) and got alot of shit from the other students. He hit his growth spurt and was 6’3 by end of freshman year. I was getting bullied and he came help me. Ever since then, we’ve become great friends. I still talk to him at least twice a month.
