Remember a couple of seasons back when teams had to lug huge wheels of cheese up a steep hill and had to slide them down using wheelbarrows or some such other thing(s)? They’re revisiting the task – this time, in snow :brrrrr:
Oh, there may be delays on the East coast due to the Masters.
It’s 7:50 and they’re still blathering on about freaking golf. And we still have to get through 60 Minutes.
Who was it a few weeks ago that commented that the world could be coming to an end and CBS would **still **show 60 Minutes in its entirety? I’d laugh, but I’m sitting here screaming at the golf people to just shut the hell up.
You know, I always like to root for the underdog, and was really wanting to give Chuck and Wynonna a chance, but good God almighty, she’s a whiny little bitch.
I thought about this the first time they did the “get the cheese down the hill” task and again tonight. WHY would you store your cheese half a mile from your barn up a 60 degree grade?
You know, sometimes I chuckle at how bent out of shape people get in the TAR threads when the show is pushed back because of a football or basketball game running late. I guess that’s because I like football and basketball and so I don’t mind it that much. But I hate golf on TV and I hate Jim Nantz even more, so tonight after watching the playoff round of the Masters and listening to all of his post-tournament blather I found myself yelling at the TV “Get ON with it! Nobody CARES!” So… yeah I guess now I know how you people feel.
As for Chuck and Wynona,
they pretty much foreshadowed their last place finish in the first five minutes with the “we’re starting to race better now” comment. I knew at that moment that they were doomed.
