And I really don’t see why the Green team gets so much hate from other teams except for the fact that they won so many legs. They usually seem to have fun with the locals. If a cab driver didn’t know where he was going and drove me 45 minutes out of the way, I’d be pretty pissed at him too.

Seriously, if we want to talk about bad behavior, the two teams at the finish line were pretty unsportsmanlike when Justin and Diana got the time penalty. They could have had the good grace to adopt less giddy facial expressions.

I don’t have an issue with Justin’s emotional liability because I’d probably react the same way. I cry when I’m frustrated. Not the end of the world.

And everyone KNOW you have to follow the specific directions in the clues. He took the wrong ferry. Not just the wrong launch point, the wrong particular type of ferry, as he himself noted.

You’re right, I should have said, they’ve shown good Racing skills UP UNTIL NOW.

I was kind of surprised that green didn’t double check before getting in the doomed taxi. I was under the impression that Justin doubled checked everything. As a student of the race that would make sense. I thought that’s why they were doing so well. By double checking everything one would make less mistakes and avoid fatal mistakes.
I guess I was wrong. Or they got complacent.

Diane was remarkably calm about the situation. I would have gone batshit crazy. I think Justin’s reaction was pretty normal. Bitching at Diane was bad, but being upset wasn’t all that weird. Diane was a saint on that leg. Not just to Justin but to the bad cabby too.

Krista seemed to have no idea where the fish were; the other teams could have told her where in the tank to look (stage front, about seven feet down from the looks of things). If Green is behind them, they’ve helped knock out the strongest team and improve their chances for winning the final leg; if Green has already finished the Roadblock, they’re still 20 minutes ahead of the cheerleaders on the way to the Mat.

For that matter, I don’t know why Krista didn’t watch the other teams to see where they were getting the fish. If everybody comes up with a fish in the same part of the tank, that’s where I’m going to start looking.

Credit where it’s due, though; jumping from high places is not my forte. I don’t know if I could have done that part of the task and Krista did it five times. I kinda winced the way she was holding her arms out from her body when she hit the water.

We don’t know for sure those things didn’t happen either. Teams might have given vocal instructions and it just wasn’t shown. Still. I think in the moment no one thought that krista would have as much trouble as she did. In retrospect it makes sense to take the time to help her. But in the moment, I don’t Think I would have realized the opportunity either

As edited, Justin is a sore loser whiner, always someone else’s fault, and a sore winner asshole, rubbing it in to the extreme. 15 yard penalties, unsportsmanlike conduct. Green team is rocking the Race, tho.

Yeah, if I was on the Race I’m not sure how I’d respond if I was facing elimination. But I’m not a fan of arrogance (even if the Racers are that good), and the weepiness when things are going wrong makes the arrogance that much worse.

The cast members on the ship were all pointing for Krista where to go look. I think the only that would have helped her is if one of them just went and physically put her hand on a fish.

As for Green - Justin is loathsome but if he doesn’t win this time, that means we’ll have to see him come back for an All Star cast and ruin a whole other season. Screw it. Just give him his check and show him the door.

The reporters are just the least bad of all the teams left in the game.

Yeah, when the show was over and my wife asked me which of the three teams I’d like to see win, my response was “Well, the reporters are the least obnoxious, so I guess it would be them.”

If Green Team wins, if I was Diane I’d take my half of the loot and tell Justin to hit the road.

We had serious concerns about what would have happened had Justin been eliminated. I’m only partly joking when I say I could see him trying to drown himself in the harbor.
