I wonder how possible this is as it is my understanding that Saddam never really extended much trust to his inferiors in the first place. In the confusion of war I could see some of the generals trying to work out a side deal but I wonder how much could have been set up beforehand. Saddam ran a pretty tight brutal ship(should I be using past tense yet?)
