ricepad, the reason I mentioned–or, uh, didn’t mention–what I did stems from a conversation I had with a guy friend a long time ago. He voiced sentiments much like yours, and basically added that he also found it exciting when a woman expressed interest in kissing after receiving oral sex.
I’ve always considered kissing as a very intimate form of…tasting another person. So I suppose spoke had it right by saying that we like to taste ourselves. What you’re talking about just takes that one step further…

No, really… when I was in college there was a brand of wine coolers out called Rattlesnake… don’t ask me I didn’t make it. But anywho, the girl I was seeing at the time liked that brand. They were very sweet and left a great taste in her mouth.
This isn’t really a ‘taste’, but kissing someone after they’ve had an ice cube in their mouth feels really neat.

To answer to OP, I remembering hearing somewhere (one of those History of Sex specials on A&E that are hosted by the guy from Northern Exposure, I think) that men prefer the last of alcohol, and women mint. I prefer Pepsi.
Altoids. Many fond memories of sharing altoids and lollipops with my boyfriend. Sure we kinda freaked out our group members when we were in math clas together but it tasted good.
