I have a tattoo of little wooden boy (of The Tick fame)
on the right side of my lower back. I know its there and the only people who see it are the ones I want to see it.

What really puzzled me is that one of the tattoos I saw was on the lower back of a girl I know to be single and much too young to be having other people see her without clothes on. (Ooops… is my Puritan streak showing through?)
So, I didn’t understand why in the world she would want to have a tattoo that she couldn’t see and no one else would see.
Now, my eyes have been opened.

There are people out there with tattoos of every imaginable kind on every imaginable part of their body. Part of some tattoo competitions (yes, there are such things) is a “tattooed penis” round. I have also seen pictures of women with tats right over their genitalia. There’s one woman with a rather famous one. She’s a photographer in San Fran, I believe. Her tattoo is a devil’s face, approx. life size, with her vagina as the face’s open mouth.
I’ve also seen pictures of a guy who tattooed his face to look like lizard skin (i.e. green) had horns implanted into his skull, and had his tongue cut in two down the middle. Now THAT’S weird.
This is ‘gay code’. A tatto on the back means the guy is a bottom. If it were just above the penis, he would be a top.
I find the small-of-the-back tattoo very sexy on a girl. Especially when we are doing it in such a way that it is visible. Major turn-on!
