Teabaggers

And I’m sure the main conservative movement decried all of the vulgarities and disrespect shown at all those rallies, but I can’t seem to find the links to major mainstream conservative leaders that did this.
Maybe you can help me with this dilemma?

Knee jerk much? Obviously, I was talking about the fact that, in that picture, the printing was too small and/or fuzzy to read.

Who are you talking about? If you’re talking about gay people, then sexual orientation is neither a belief or a behavior. Your “phobia” is rooted in simple minded ignorance and bigotry.

While I’m neither a Teabagger, nor a liberal Democrat, here’s my take on the whole thing:

If they dubbed themselves Teabaggers, wouldn’t that imply that it’s their balls in your (liberal Democrat’s) mouths? This is akin to the old insult “my balls in your mouth”.

Now, if the opposition (liberal Democrats) coined the name “Teabaggers”, I would think the joke is on them, as this would make them "Teabaggees, or the “oral receivers of the bag”.

Seems to me, it’s the liberal Democrats who don’t understand the whole giver / receiver relationship at work, and the jokes on them.

Or… maybe it was a Freudian slip on the opposition’s part (Al Franken and Jeanine Garofalo want nothing more than to be 'bagged by an angry tax abolitionist wearing a tri-corner hat).

Personally I would have gone with “Dogs in the Tub 'ers” (just cuz it’d be funny to hear on the evening news).

I was trying to bring a bit of levity into the discussion. Sorry.

You’re the one who said that you could do better with your money than the government could.

Apart from the stupidity of such a statement, it ignores the fact that the government is of, by and for the people. That’s why it does so many things that you benefit from on a daily basis.

First, just so it’s clear, the teabagger movement has fuck all to do with taxes. If it did, then the morons calling Obama a socialist would also have to call Ronald Reagan a socialist since he taxed the rich at a higher rate than Obama wants to do. The signs at the rallies also belie any really lucid, unified cause, it’s just a grab bag of incoherent ranting and slobbering about mostly imaginary bug-a-boos(“Czars,” birth certificates, “death panels,” etc.), combined with a generous scattering of outright racism. Pretendeding it’s about “taxes” is just the most palatable way to try to sell what these people are on Fox News.

Secondly, everybody knows about the “giver/taker” relationship of teabagging. It just doesn’t matter because these idiots are teabagging each other, no the De3mocrats. Plus it’s funny to call them that, and it makes them crazy insane, so it’s worth it.

Of course they do. They think the Government’s job is to illegally invade other countries, tell people what God to worship and monitor who they have sex with.

Using your logic:
If you think the government can do better with your money than you can, should you also not allow a governmental entity to simply confiscate your check so you can be provided with food, shelter, utilities, etc.?

Obviously, I am incapable of building roads and providing police & fire protection and defending the country.

Love It
Use It

We could go round & round about why any country has ever been invaded so I won’t even get into that argument. However, you may be surprised to learn that not all conservatives agree with the reasoning behind the Iraq invasion.

Point me to one conservative who believes we should tell people what God to worship.

Point me to one conservative who thinks it is appropriate to monitor our sex partners.

I would love to stay & chat a little more but I have to go out and work some more so 30% of my income can be taken for unconstitutional purposes.

Wow! You didn’t tell us you were a Supreme Court Justice!

Also, of all the time in history since the Great Depression, this is probably the best time to actually increase govt spending to stimulate the economy, but now the yahoos are out in the street whining. You should have done it when we started the stupid Iraq war. The billions of dollars spent to blow stuff up in another country would be much better used to build infrastructure in this country. If we had invested in alternative energy and conservation decades ago we could have told the Middle East to go fuck themselves and stop sending them the money they use to fund terrorists to attack us.

I have a problem with the whole “respect and awe” thing when grown people are prancing around in 1700’s style clothing.

Dudes, let’s party like it’s 1773. We’re totally cool, man.

You’re also incapable of providing decent medical coverage to everyone who can’t provide for it themselves.

Hey dude-they put a lot of time and effort in their attempts to look like Paul Revere and the Raiders!

Of course, any African-Americans attending these “tea parties” had a much easier time creating their period attire.

Hey, I know about them! Cleaned out my folks garage when we abandoned them on an ice floe, found some things they call “records”. Flat, black, sorta like Frisbees but don’t fly for shit. And the funny thing is, they don’t record at all, they are strictly playback…

Oh, sorry, didn’t now this was your lawn…

Well, kicks just keep getting harder to find, don’tcha know?
You bet they do!

Diogenes, that’s a very broad statement, and supposing it’s true, how do you explain Kennedy, Johnson, and McNamara? Were the Bay of Pigs, Gulf of Tonkin, Phoenix Project and covert operations in Laos and Cambodia “legal”?

I wonder who’s signatures have been responsible for the deaths of more US troops, the Johnson / McNamara team or the Bush / Cheney team?

Just wondering, since the Democrat party is obviously the party of peace, just war, and the rule of law.
