I made fruitcake for the first time yesterday. The family recipe calls for the cakes to be soaked in apple juice but I know that I lot of people soak it in brandy. I’d like to try brandy on one of the cakes but I know nothing about it. So tell me about brandy. I’m looking to use something decent but not ridiculously expensive. Any recommendations?
Brandy? She’s a fine girl. I think she’d make a good wife, only I spend too much time on my boat.
