Teachers and School Districts

They can’t negoiate and get a new contract before school starts, or school starts and then the Teacher’s Union decides to Strike.

WTF, are families supposed to do with the kids out of school and the teachers walk the picket line. Many families I know are two family incomes and it is hard to find babysitting, or alternate daycare. This has, or is happening in PA.

Will someone please explain.

So, you’re saying that the strike should have been over the summer? I don’t see how a summer strike would give the teacher’s union all that much bargaining power.

This sounds more like a rant than a General Question. Feel free to repost in the appropriate forum.
