Tear Jerking Stories

Alright, I tried to search for a thread like this but “sad” and “cry” violate the 4 letter rule so I had to resort to this. Does anyone know of a website that has a collection of those short stories that make you cry, or tug at your heart stirngs? If not, anyone care to post their favorite?

Here is one as an example:

Your soul mate of 20 years has just died after an eight-month battle with cancer. You go through a tremendous grieving period, but eventually the pain subsides long enough that you return to your home and begin sorting through your room, removing the things in it that were hers. You pull a jewelry box down from the shelf and open it up. Inside, there is a card folded in half and you open it up. The card reads, “I will always be with you.”

It would be worse if the note said ‘I always hated you’

Those stories don’t tug at my heart strings. At my stomach strings, more like . . .

Those stories are generally known as “glurges” by the way, a name which does a rather fine job of summing up their treacly, sickly-sweet nature.
