You said it. I was going to ask what exactly was supposed to be wrong with “X-Men: Evolution” and buying anime DVD’s, but I was afraid I’d have to read the answer. And I’ve already exceeded my quota for pompous BS today.
I’m not sure what the problem is in having the “Teen Titans” be teenagers, either.
There’s a big difference between 13 year-old “Teen Titans” and 17 year-old “Teen Titans.”
And there’s nothing wrong per se with buying anime DVDs if that’s what you’re into although IMHO about 95% of the anime produced is garbage. I find it wicked boring and I think the big-eyed art style looks silly. I suppose the big eyes on these Titans could be coming from some other source but the only other one off the top of my head I can think of is that one 70s painter "Keene IIRC) who painted those sad big-eyed children that every medical waiting office used to be glutted with. And hey, not that interested in seeing a cartoon based on that style either.
I’d appreciate it if someone could take pity on one who has precious little Teen Titans knowledge and fill me on something: What exactly is Beast Boy/Changeling’s deal? He turns into green animals? How? Why? Is this very useful? The only comics I saw him in he was all pissy and going to Hollywood.
Sam: Yeah, he can shapeshift into diffent animals. So, he can fly like a hawk, swim and breathe water like a fish, have the senses of a wolf, the strength of a grizzly/elephant/gorilla, ect.
Of course, all his shapes are green, so he can’t really spy on anyone, except maybe as a praying mantis.
One of his strengths is that he can change lightning fast with apparently no effort: this allows for a lot of unpredictability when fighting him.
Terra. I’d like to see Terra. Did I mention Terra? I wouldn’t mind Jericho, either, as long as his look is completely altered.
I have no interest at all in seeing the old school second stringers, like Bumblebee, Firelass, Gabriel(? He had a trumpet…oooh), or any of the rest.
How cool would it be to have Nightwing make a guest appearance or two?
