As part of my morning ritual, I turn on the TV and channel-surf for a few minutes as I wake up. Unfortunately, I usually get up about the time the local PBS station is showing the teletubbies. This morning I had the double unfortunate situation of actually catching that inane theme song at the beginning of the show and actually listening to most of it before some shred of human free will left deep in my psyche forced my jingle-numbed fingers to switch the channel.
But it was too late. Now that stupid song was in my head. So I thought, Quick! Think of something totally different! So my mind immediately latched on to the Three Stooges. Did that help? Not exactly … Now I have this going through my head …
