I’ve only heard the theme song a couple of times; it’s one of those jump guys, right? Cab Calloway or Louis Jordan or someone of that persuasion.

Yup it’s Hell by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. Came out on the album “Hot” about 1997 or so.
