Tell me about Blue Frog anti-spam program - Does it work? Is it safe?

This program below

Seems to be getting great reviews. I get about 20 spams a day. Does this program work? Main mechanism seems to be via overhelming spammers servers. Any hidden gotchas on using this program?

It doesn’t sound so great to me.
Blue Frog empowers you to exercise your opt-out right in a safe and secure manner and allows you to register your email addresses or your personal email domains in the Do Not Intrude Registry, free of charge.
This may work for legit mailers, but most spammers don’t give a rat’s ass about opt-out. The same thing that works pretty well for phone calls doesn’t work that well for spam. Phone calls cost money, sending millions of spams costs hardly anything. In addition, many people make money not sending spam, but by selling “targeted lists” that are really just every goddamn address they can find, in any country.

Blue Frog automatically posts complaints on the sites advertised by spam.
This would be quite a feat considering every website is different. I’m sure they’re not doing it manually.
It seems like their whole system is depending on the people sending spam to care about opt-out. Which they don’t.

There is apparently an earlier duplicate thread on this topic. Would a passing mod please close this one.
