Has anyone stayed in Kailua Town near Lanikai Beach on Oahu? I’m trying to research a vacation options for this coming October, and I’d really love to see Lanikai. I see several vacation homes on VRBO, but I also see a touristy commercial strip through that tiny town when I use Google street view guy to walk the neighborhood.
If you’ve stayed, what’s your impression? Is it a noisy, partying kind of area? I’d hate to get there and then discover we won’t get any sleep for a week due to noise.
