Tell me about your favorite RPG

I love RPGs. They’re exciting, and I just love the idea of getting a new one. They’re not for nerds. I dare anyone to make fun of RPGs. But there’s so many of them out there, it’s hard to narrow down your choices.

One of my favorite RPGs is RPG7 by IMI. You can find a review here, but I think this is for the Russian release.

Beside RPG7, I really like MEDIUM, by Crane Industries.
How about you? What’s your favorite RPG?

More RPG discussion there

BTW, is this discussion really relevant to the subject matter of CS?

are there any RPGs that don’t use that turn based nonsense that’s in the Final Fantasy series? As you can see I am ignorant of RPGs

I attack the gazebo!!

The gazebo uses its breath weapon on you. Roll your save.

Ooh, ooh, I’m putting on my Amulet of Protection from Lawn Decorations…

[sub]S’how I got past the flamingos, donchaknow.[/sub]

Wasn’t the gazebo in Zork 1 or Zork 2 ?

As for RPG’s (as opposed to computer Adventure Games) was the Bazooka an RPG?

Hey don’t knock the FF series, a lot of them were quite good.

Zork 2.

I suppose an RPG would be quite effective against a gazebo though.

Thanks Miller are the early Zorks available to play legally on line yet? I learnt more typing skill and new words from Zork 2 than at school.

You kids and your RPGs. All we had in my day were Boys .55 rifles. They broke our shoulders by the third shot, and we were HAPPY to have them.

My favorite RPG is the Star Wars RP I play in the board in my WWW link.

You didn’t have a Red Ryder BB gun?

I thought this was about Rocket Propelled Grenades.

Of which, I always liked the ones in Red Dawn.

Planescape: Torment.

Morrowind and the Tribunal expansion. First time I started it, I didn’t really get into it. The second time, I really got caught up in the storyline.

The whooshing noise is deafening.

I wish Morrowind had RPGs. That would be enchanting.

I don’t know about this “Final Fantasy” make, but this site says its RPG is for two users. One carries the launcher and the other the rocket, so I guess in a sense it would be turn-based.

…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
The irony here is classic.
