So, just before Metallica melts the faces off Antarctic scientists and a crowd of Latin American fans who were flown there via a commercial promotion, the crowd sings some sort of chant with nonsense lyrics (certainly not any form of Spanish or English that I’m familiar with). I could swear I’ve heard the crowd singing it at soccer games, too, although, you know, Mandela Effect and all that. And considering that a good portion of the crowd were Latin Americans, it seems non unlikely that they’d engage in a soccer chant.
But here’s the thing. This polish guy performs it, too. In a polka.
So either the song was originally a polka and soccer fans dig it, too. Or it predates polka and both fandoms adopted it. Or they’re not the same song and I’m just confused.
Can anyone helpl me make sense of this?
