No, we don’t have then in the UK. People tend to stand or sit for the duration of a sports event nodding and smiling politely.
Well, with the occasional gentle ripple of applause accompanied by a “well played Germany, well played”.
I thought, “oogie oogie oogie, oi, oi, oi” is basically your national anthem.
Yes, football matches in the UK are so sedate. It’s really no different than the ballet or the symphony performances.
An old chesnut based on Waltzing Matilda and absolutely not intended to put the Aussie media head off his lines:
Of course, when we put down our knitting, English footie fans have been known to break out into a gentle 'Eng-erland, Eng-er-land, Eng-er-laaaand, Eng-erland, Eng-er-land, Eng-er-laaaand).
It has a certain poetry.
In Canada, our nation chant is a smirk.
“Deutschland, Deutschland über alles” enjoyed a period of popularity, IIRC.
And, of course, there’s the ever-tasteful ‘German Bombers’ ditti, this time offered via Cape Town. South Africa:
That must be the English football hoogallantism I’ve heard so much about.
Scottish sports chant: “We’re shite and we know we are!”
Nah, not really. I guess we don’t have one.
*Your mother is your sister
Your father is your brother
You love to fuck one another
The team name family!

from the UK, I guess
There used to be RACK RACK, RACK RACK RACK, RACK RACK RACK ENGLAND !
The rack is my attempt to reproduce a banging sound, England of course is a very loud shout, as the chant goes on it speeds up and gets even louder.
“Vive la France” isn’t chanted. During a sport event you can shout/sing “Allez la France!” (Go, France!) or "Allez les [Insert your team’s jersey’s colour. “Bleus” for the French national soccer team during international competitions, for instance]. Basically “Go, blues/greens/reds!”. There might be a full song based on that. The most famous of them being for the “green” Saint-Etienne.
“Vive la France” would rather be heard during a political meeting or somesuch (not saying of course that soccer fans will never shout that after a victory. It’s just not what they’ll typically chant during a game.)
It may not have been cricket, but 3 years ago the Chilean miners were happy with “C-H-I CHI! L-E LE! CHI! CHI! CHI! LE! LE! LE! VIVA CHILE!” (see 10 seconds on YouTube).
It really only applied to one event, but when the USSR played hockey against Canada in the 1972 Summit Series, Canadians came up with the following chant:
Nyet, nyet, Soviet! Da, da, Canada!
I was expecting Vindaloo.
You might be surprised to learn that it’s still the national anthem of Germany.
