You might have liked New Amsterdam , too then. But I think Forever did it better. Both good, tho.

Rome, I think, was cancelled simply because it was so expensive to produce. But yeah, it was a fantastic show!

It’s interesting to see how many fans and critics say they loved Freaks and Geeks- since no one actually watched it. The show was #93 in the rankings during its only season.

It was a Summer fill in, and that was all there was supposed to be. I had heard that it did well enuf in the ratings for the Execs to ask about a couple real seasons, but by that time the sets had been disabled and the stars were all onto other things.

Probably a controversial choice, but: I think Enterprise was the best Star Trek. But it had lower ratings and didn’t last as long as any of the other Trek spinoffs (TNG, DS9, VOY).

Firefly, of course
Happy Endings
the original "V"

Breakout Kings was a TV show about prisoners selected to work with the police to abduct criminals in order to have their time reduced. Great performances, ended on a cliffhanger!

Doctor, Doctor - a Matt Frewer 30-minute sitcom from the late 80s or early 90s, not long after his Max Headroom days. It was hysterical, but you had to pay attention, as the gags were both verbal and visual. They came so fast that you’d be laughing at one and miss the next and go, “wait, he said WHAT?!?” I think it was too quick for the average viewer.

Can’t believe I forgot this one: Lie To Me. Lasted three seasons, but two were short ones. The two main actors: Tim Roth and Kelli Williams were great.

I’m pretty sure it was a miniseries, so it wasn’t meant to go on that long.

The miniseries was followed by a regular series that lasted only half a season, IIRC. Pity, since I really dug Jane Badler. :o

I enjoyed Robert Englund at the time. The only non Freddy role I know him from.

Wedding Band - “Weddings are the wildest parties in town. After all, the groupies are bridesmaids, the drinks are free and the best part, there’s a paycheck waiting at the end of the night.” Brian Austin Green show that lasted about 10 episodes. Funny as hell.

Freakazoid! Earthworm Jim. I guess Gravity Falls would count since the second season finale will be the last episode.

I almost forgot. Did anybody watch Inhumanoids? For 1986 it was one of the creepiest, yet coolest cartoons ever. Well, if you’re a kid. I loved it and I don’t know why it only lasted 13 episodes.

Seriously? I can see us disagreeing on the writing, but how can you stand to watch Tracy Morgan? After three episodes I felt like I had rubbed a cheese grater across my flesh, thanks to him.

But as you say, to each his own.

Oh, yes. I liked that one a lot.

DE-COM-POOOOSE!

Interesting there was evidence that show was in the same universe with both GI Joe and the Transformers.

Yeah. I couldn’t even make it thru a epi, due to him.
