TIL (well, actually it was yesterday) that there is such a thing as plastic razorblades.
I needed to get some stickers off a small wooden CD/DVD cabinet. I soaked them down with adhesive remover and started to remove the first one with my thumbnail. I mentioned to my husband that I wished there was some sort of tool that could do this job - something rigid but not so hard or sharp that it would damage the wood or the finish. He had learned of the plastic razorblade solution to remove decals/stickers from cars and purchased a few for that reason. Perfect.
Exactly, but I would guess WWII or shortly thereafter rather than WWI. My German grandfather had one like that, probably the same exact model if my recollection is right. And they are using it wrong, the hole in the middle front bottom is to fix it to a table, you shuld not have to hold it with the other hand but they seem to have lost the part that fixes it. Pity! It is not well lubricated either by the way it seems to offer resistance to the turning of the lever.
But it is nice to see what modern over-engineer’d solutions are offered on the videos the algorithm proposes after watching this one. I, of course, can only recommend this classic, and not for the first time, I believe:
Frustrating? It is bloody annoying to watch people boasting their ignorance and ridiculing those who are not as dumb and ignorant as they are proudly displaying to be! Too dumb to eat sunflower seeds? I wonder what else they are incapable of despite being allowed to use both hands. They are faking it, right? It’s just a show, innit? And taco flavoured sunflower seeds? Weird… I wonder where on earth that would sell.
