But Clinton, by all accounts the “smartest politition of our time” didn’t know thinks were a little bit different in 1998 then they were in 1960? I couldn’t disagree more. Those anti- adultery rules are important to the military. When there are a bunch of horny young guys and gals running around, its important to try and keep the lid on behavior. It hard to ask these guys to go to war for an year. The fact that the military, in some small way is trying to watch your back, and deter your buddies from doing your wife while your gone is important.
