The D have returned and have uploaded the entire Rize of the Fenix album to Soundcloud for free streaming.

I’ve just finished listening and I can’t believe how great it is. It’s on par with their first album and streets ahead of the travesty that was The Pick of Destiny (which they address right at the beginning of the first song).

They’ve been putting out some really great promo videos. This one really cracked me up (and proves that Val Kilmer does still have a sense of humor) and the video for The Roadie stars Danny McBride and is just as amazing as you’d expect.

Anyone else listen yet? Have Jables and Rage left your jeans been properly creamed?

Thanks for posting, I’ll be giving this a thorough listen. I loved their video with Val Kilmer, nothing builds my respect for you like when you mock yourself.

Did you catch the video of the D in New Zealand (?) picking up two ten year old kids busking in the street and getting them to open for them? (link)

Induct the last song, “39”, into the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame right now and then never induct anything ever again

Just finished listening to it. Thoroughly enjoyable, although I never quite understood the hate for Pick of Destiny.
