The mayor has a radio show on wabc 770 am i think it is 11-noon on fridays. He takes all types of quality of life complaints. maybe he can help you.
Summary: you dislike(d) your neighbor’s behaviour (eeew, they’re SMOKers! Who play music), complained to your landlord, and were looking for legal recourse, perhaps to sue or have the constables roust these undesirables, right?
Just a radical thought: Perhaps you should have tried (don’t faint), talking with these neighbors first? I understand folks used to actually try to resolve problems, face to face, before starting legal action or trying to get neighbors evicted. Really!
I really think a) you’re being too thin-skinned for an apartment-dweller, and b) you’re being litigious – it might be a good idea try to resolve or mitigate a problem before calling out the landlords & courts.
Ack! Zev, I apologize. This newbie has learned a lesson. The last three posters are apparently still giving you advice even though your last post clearly explained the situation has been resolved. I’m am so sorry to have dredged up a mess.
Sincerely,
Abby
