Okay, what on earth, I guess I haven’t been following closely but…Sloane Stephens versus Victoria Azarenka in the 1st round of the Australian Open? I am going to have to look up which one of them has fallen short (probably Stephens, who fell short again).

Nadal looks good although it will be nice when there are some new, younger players in the semis etc.

According to the WTA site, apparently at the time of seeding, Stephens was ranked 34, and Azarenka 41.
