This is why I hardly watch trailers any more. They’re hard to avoid in actual theaters, but I don’t get all the clamor to see newly released trailers for movies you’re already planning to see.
The goal of a trailer is to get you to pay for the movie. The goal of the movie is to tell a story. The person putting the trailer together doesn’t give a shit if the story is ruined as long as you paid to see it.
