ETA: K. So you can’t end a thread’s title with a period. That’s just weird.

ETA3: Apparently, from a test on another board, even the mods don’t have period-adding capabilities.

Do any of the usual workarounds like adding an invisible character work around this?
I added the Alt-0160 character after the period and it seems to have worked well. @GreysonCarlisle

Looks like Discourse scrubs the final period to avoid a rare bug.

ETA: Also, I notice that it’s now scrubbed the final non-breaking space.
