Test thread re: url underlinging. Did I find a quirk>

In Cafe Society, I posted this:

The link for both They Live and Hell Comes to Frogtown both work, but only They Live is underlined. Is it because I put the code for italics and urls in a different order?

Obviously not a big deal. This is the most minor of questions regarding vb code, but why did it do that? I’m curious.

Two things: I screwed up spelling in the title, and y’all can’t see coding in a quote box. Here’s what I’m curious about outside a quote box:

Late night movies were my first introduction to the illustrious acting career of Rowdy Roddy Piper, having seen both *They Live* and Hell Comes to Frogtown at about 2 AM.

A link for those who want to know what in the world the OP is going on about.

  1. The link for “Hell Comes to Frogtown” is underlined in that.
  2. The link for “Hell Comes to Frogtown” does not work, because it’s all mangled up, because it looks like this: %3Ci%3Ehell%20comes%20to%20frogtown%3C/i%3E

I think it’s because you didn’t actually supply a url for the second one. The order of the tags has nothing to do with anything.

Link number one
Link number two
