There’s this wonderful feature of IMDB called “by keyword”
Most of the clues so far coincide with (1) and (2)
But there have been some movies that I haven’t seen and where IMDB is no help (notice I haven’t taken any shots at Ilsa’s clues in this thread). Those I just hope somebody else will get or they’ll get buried in the chaos.
I’ve been tempted (but not enough to do anything about it) to go back through all these threads and pick out the ones that have not been guessed correctly, or if guessed correctly not confirmed by the one posting the clues.
I just use IMDB after others have had a chance to answer from memory. My immediate replies are memory-based. But if a clue has sat there for some period of time with no guesses, I’ll do some IMDB tracking on it just to help “clear the books” so whoever posted it can come up with new clues if he/she chooses.
If it’s decided that IMDB is not an option, I can play that way. But since it’s going to be a tough rule to enforce (Honor System?) I don’t see the point.
I don’t use imdb for answer, on principle. It takes the challenge out of the game for me. I will use it, however, for help in formulating my own questions, for instance to double check the spelling of someone’s name.
Now, back to the game:
