My main problem with touch typing is that I go bwtween a standard keyboard at owork and use a smaller laptop keyboard at home. This makes my fingers feel fatter and it takes me a while to acclimate.

Strange that I hardly every look at my keyboard anymore anyway. What I have a problem with would be using the numbers on top of the keyboard. If I did that it would be horrible!! Just horrible! But I think I did okya with eyes closed and typing.

Hmmm not bad - what I lose in accuracy, I make up for in speed. I blame most of my typos on the new keyboard that my hubby got me - he loves it because it lights up so I can type at night (not that I ever do) - I hate it because the keys are sticky.
I HAVE to touchtype - the oils in my fingers make all of the letters rub off my keyboard anyway.

Typing typing typing. I’m usually pretty good, I’m a touch typist and my speed is 100 words per minute. I seem to be doing OK. Up, still doing, oh, hang on, that was supposed to be Yup. OK, perhaps not 100% accuracy then. Blah blah blah blah. Actually, it’s quite hard to think of something to say, isn’t it? Heh.
I learned how to touch type by using AOL instant messenger. I currently tuype 120 wpm at almost perfect accuracy. My boss shits himself every time he sees me tuype.
Type is one word I have issues typing. Weird. Two mistakes. Both type. Same mistake, even. Hm.

It’s really not very hard to do this. what’s even more fascinating is i am typing with only five fingers.
(my left shift key is broken, and I can’t alwaus be bothered to fumble around and get it just right so it activates.)

I never learned to type correctly…that is, using the whole dfoutr-dingers on one hand on certain keys and the other four on other keys. Still, apparently I can do a decent enough job of typing. And apparently, I’ve done it often enough to havbe a physical membory of where the keys are. Huh.
(Seems my index and ring fingers do most of the work though…)
