I’d just like to point out that in TCSM I, the survuivor found her way into an old, locked up room, with a dead woman in it. Also relating to the true story. In TCSM II, they find a shrine with another dead lady, “Grandma”

I was reading an interview with the producer of TTCSM and apparently he was in Sears one day and just saw a chainsaw on sale. No connection with anythiung that happened in the real world, just a cheap (but REALLY effective) prop.
