Texas Republicans campain for dead candidate
As I’ve said elsewhere, you guys have so much more interesting elections than we do! :eek:
Not only do the dead sometimes run for office here, sometimes they win.
I’ve voted for a dead candidate. In our case, it was for Town Supervisor; the guy in office had done a very good job over the years, but had a fatal heart attack a week or so before the election (just before a televised debate was about to begin; his opponent gave him CPR). But the guy he was running against was woefully unqualified for the post, and it was much too late to change the ballot, so he was elected.
He who was elected, the dead guy or the incompetent one?
As I understand, the dead are a huge portion of the Texas voting demographic. That probably explains things.
I thought that was Florida not Texas.
It could be worse. You could be voting for the undead…
